Report directly to the Technical Manager and be an integral part of the Quality Team.

• Carry out testing and positive release of finished product

• Maintain the quality standards as per legislative requirements & customer standards.

• Participate and lead Quality checks, GMPs audits, fabrication audits etc

• Carry out GMP audits, attend review and close out actions with responsible teams across production areas

• In conjunction with the production teams, raise awareness and effectiveness of operatives and supervisors to comply with quality standards to produce high quality product.

• Send finished and raw material product samples out to external lab for analysis according to set schedule.

• Carrying out internal audits and assisting with external and customer audits.

• Assisting with close out investigations into complaints including root cause analysis.


  • Quality / Food science qualification.
  • Certifications including HACCP, Internal Auditing is an advantage
  • 1 + years' experience in the Food sector with experience working in manufacturing settings
  • Organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, schedule, execute and track projects
  • Ability to manage work to meet the deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Desire to drive continual improvement
  • Excellent technical and written skills 
  • Attention to detail and ability to solve problems
